An intrinsic beauty of satire is that it is left and right wing simultaneously, and in a way nothing else quite is. Left, in that- to quote Chris Rock--it punches upwards (anything that dive bombs the oppressed for laughs can't really be called satire, not in its modern sense) and right in its skepticism, even cynicism, at whatever new idea has just come tramping over the horizon.

Definitely a feature. Not a bug.
