A Quick Thought On The Afghan Whigs Reuniting.

My biggest fear about the Whigs reforming is this: a majestically cool song ruined if you watch the diabolically awful video.

 


In 'Gentlemen' front man Greg Dulli plays a streetwise Rick Astley who spends his evenings looking through his neighbors' windows. His problems really start when a congenital illness (linked to his Timelord genetic heritage) causes him to regenerate constantly, varying between himself, the guy with big hair in the Sopranos and some other guy who's been learning interpretive dance from William Shatner. Ultimately, young Dulli overcomes his plight by wrestling with one of the cast of Melrose place.
 

I'm looking forward to the new album, guys, but PLEASE just do a live video or something...
